At some point or other all the Grupetto staff and many of our customers have tried to ‘live the dream’ of a professional cycling contract, some with more success than others we might add. What we all share however from our experience, is that we know how hard it is to get one.

This is why we have created Gruppo Sportivo Baveno, to help talented young English speaking riders get a foot on the ladder of Italian cycling with the ultimate goal of turning pro. Based in the Verbania region of Piedmont the riders are provided with the full backup, support and knowledge that will enable them to race in some of Italy's most prestigious events.

Many of the squad will join us throughout the year (race programme and DS permitting!) to share some of their experiences with you. Replica kit will be available, exclusively for Grupetto customers.
